Can't read CD after install

I googled and found many had the same problem.

1) I install the game
2) I copy the Manuals from the 3rd CD
3) I put CD 1 in
4) Pop up window with choises
5) I select PLAY
5) Nothing happens
6) Since then I cannot read any of the 3 CD, even the one with only PDF on it. It's like the CD are all bad.

Apparently too many CD copying protection is the problem and does't work with many CD-ROM/DVD-ROM !!!

Some people returned it and new copy was the same.

I read somewhere to install it in SAFE MODE, so I uninstall everything but even in safe mode I can't read all 3 CD anymore.

This is ridiculous.
Can I do anything about this ?

Thid and no it didn't. I have a DVD-RW, my solution was to also install a DVD-ROM that I had laying around...Works fine since then.

But now my PC is ****ing ugly...It's a Thermaltake Armor all Aluminum + Black DVD-ROM + BLACK meter in front...Now it also has a BEIGE DVD-ROM !!! But hey it works.
