Can't see units

With the new Ffh2 0.34 version, when I start a game, it seems I can't see any units on the map. Also the city info is gone. I tried the main options and changed some of them, but all seems to give no effect. I have patch "a" installed. Any help?

If its the same thing, I had this "problem" before. Turned out it was one of the options right above the map in the bottom right was left on from last game (the one that toggles units and the city info from appearing on the screen(
