Captured wonders -- never cease

I can't figure this one out. Persia has been reduced to stone axes and bearskins. I took their capital -- JS Bach's Cathedral, Leonardos Workshop, and the Great Wall are now mine. That was about 50 years ago. I'm at peace with the world, a superpower, and am making cultural gains on Babylon.

However, why don't I get points per turn and benefits for the wonders and captured improvements? I know the Great Wall is obsolete, but the others don't become obsolete AFAIK.

You only get cultural points fr wonders you've built yourself; never fr captured wonders.

However, if those wonders had not expired, you shld still be getting their benefits, regardless of who originally built them.
