What factors determine how profitable a caravan will be? I keep sending my caravans to the other side of the world, to cities that demand the stuff, but still I only get some 80 gold's for it. The land shipped from is a separate continent. Should the caravan be in route for a very long time to be more profitable, or maybe in route less? Is there any difference in the different things you can carry, as in having more or less value?
Do the trade routes increase in value in the city? A route that only gives 1 extra trade early in the game - will it increase, or do I need to create a new, better trade route?
