Caricatures

All these fantasy and historically correct civs are very cool. Has anyone considered caricaturing some of our goofier leaders for comic relief in the game? I remember some game I had for the Amiga with Ronnie Raygun, Maggie Thatcher, and a Jimmy Carter spoof-type leader. Basically, you screw each other over and eventually nuke each other. Anyone thought of making leaders like Nixon, I know tons of folks here would love to beat up on "Dubya," maybe make a mobster into a world leader, a modern gangster, Bill Gates, throw Juan Valdez's name into the random merchant name generator. I know Adolf tends to be taboo, but, caricaturized and abused, could be fun. Besides, who wouldn't want to demoralize his civ, and beat them til they convert to Judaism? Silly stuff like that. Nothing too involved. I may go through the tutorials and take a crack at it myself, but keep expectations low. If anyone goes for it, I'd love to know about it. Please don't turn this into some kind of political/historical rationalization for or against. Just if you're into it, or can add silliness, go for it. Thanks.

i have hitler in my mod, mostly to beat the hell out of him, not a caricature, an acutal pic

i've added mussolini for the next one too


i might add reagan to beat the hell out of him too, i hated that old fart

(as a disclaimer, my dad was an air traffic controller, hence my hatred of reagan)


i also have things like stewie griffin as a leader, and i have todd rundgren as a leader of the utopia civ. kind of fun to run into them in a random game

adding non animated leaderheads isn't too hard, you just need the right software to put things in .dds
