I'm not a fan of MSN ,but i need it for my clan.

You can find me on MSN on my e-mail adress (pieter.verhaeghe@pandora.be) or my Ofp nickname. (AtillaTheGun)

Invite me and ill be there.

Looking sketchy.

Perhaps they are not inclined to speak yet?

The chat is now in progress over MSN. CFC delegation includes Rik, matrix, and akots. CDZ delegation includes Kemal, Anarres, and Markstar. Rik and Kemal do all the talking. Chat is being posted in demogame room in real time to keep the citizens informed.

I read it, and the presented offers would hurt us either way. Either we are stuck with warriors we cannot upgrade to Swordsmen, and build new Medieval infantry, which means
we do not get needed galleys to speedily move into Brazucan lands. Since the time delay for the expected Brazucan invasion would be between 22-30 turns, to maximize the value of Immortals, we need to get out with the galleys and strike Fortaleza-Rio around turn 30, trapping the Immortals in the DMZ area between our invading force and Khazad Doom. It seems from the chatlog that CDZ consider us security risk if we lose the war, and they show no interest in directly aiding us. They want hard currency
for the smallest thing, and do not respond positively to our city offer or land offer.
They only want straight-up gold.

I prefer to have more swordsmen upgraded from the warriors, and use gold for the brazucan embassy and Investigate Fortaleza as well as heavily securing our peace effort. Based on the location of CDZ Galleys, we should be able to estimate when they
may contact Brazuca. Our job could also be to disinform CDZ about our plans with Brazuca, since they already consider us a security risk. The only way to prove CDZ our worth, is to crush Brazuca with an adept strike, since they (CDZ) will give us nothing for free. they drive a hard bargain, which means we got really little to gain from this trade. I can also assure you that if Brazuca makes a trade with CDZ during the first 30 turns, that they will not translate that deal quickly into upgrades, since we got a decent amount of Brazucas gold. I agreed with Rik all the way, the best window of attack would be in 30 turns time, I also agree with Akots set timeframe, and Hygros assesment of the military strength of ancient cavalry, which disproves the argument that our military strike is too risky. Following hills and mountains and attacking quickly only key areas would reduce that risk tremendously.

Let's wait for the final offer from CDZ. It might be they will be willing to listen to our arguments. On the other hand, their point of view is also understandable. I would say that 25gpt is an acceptable price for HBR and Construction. We can run full throttle to Feudalism at about 50 beakers/turn for 10-12 turns or so and then stop research for another 10 turns netting about 700g in the end for everything. I hope we can also increase our gpt income by building a few spare cities on the iron island and may be even hire scientists there.

25 gpt seems steep for those two techs...especially when one considers that we don't actually plan on using them any time soon. I am not so sure that is a good use of cash.
