HELP! I'm dying badly . Can someone give me tips on city development, but better on ways to deal with fires and other disasters.....
I die every time there's a fire or an invasion.....

Now I need to think of a way to make indutries in the country send goods to the city. And I do have roads....

To make your provincial "industries" (such as Farms, Quarries, Mines, etc. IIRC) work properly, they:

1. Must be linked by road to the city.

2. Must be bordered by a Warehouse (to store the goods).

3. Must be bordered by a Work Camp.

Each Work Camp, BTW, needs 30 Plebs to maintain efficiently.

Incidentally, Vigils from Prefectures handle fires, Soldiers from Barracks handle invasions, and both handle rioters.

(I've had Caesar II for quite some time now. Ah, the memories...)
