Leaving it here for a bit, so you can comment on the dotmap. Current plan is to have 2 more archers, and take over Seville, which is defended by a spear.

We'll gladly take you, Volum. :D BTW, good work Tarkeel. I wouldn't have thought of a quick invasion, but that seems like a good idea - make those Spanish bastards pay! :mwaha:

Anyway, that dotmap looks good. Hey I just noticed that we have iron! Good! We're lucky the Spanish didn't take it though...

Good job, Tarkeel. We conquer Seville, the invaders defeated...its all good. Plus we have a foothold on the second island, regain control of our own island, and have enough workers to go around. Oh yeah, and (mostly) tech parity too.

We could use a few more workers, we still only have 2. As for future plans, we are still at war with Spain, and would be nice to ship them a supply of spears and bows. London will produce a settler soon, and this could either be used to secure our iron and incense, or deny iron to the russians. Nottingham will be a formidable settler factory, with 3 cattle.

You're right about the workers, I thought we had two on the homeland. As for the home iron vs. Russian iron, I think we should poach theirs first. Just make sure no one gets ours!

And if we're going to ship them some spears and bows...do you think we could take them out? After all, they only have two cities. Maybe we're getting ahead of ourselves, though...

This game looks like it will be very fun to play. Since I've never really participated in a multi island war, I am looking forward to getting some practice at it.

My blood began to boil when I checked out that dotmap and saw Spain had built a city on OUR land. Then I realized their supply lines were too long and complicated to mount any real resistance to our invasion (like it was in doubt :D). At least it saved us a settler.

Unfortunately, I will not be able to participate until the 6th of Aug (sister is getting married and I will be drunk for days/daze). Skip me this turn and I'll check in when I get back.

I say, take the fight to the Spanish.

Sure you guys can be skipped. Bacon King is running out of time before he is skipped.

BTW, I will be gone on weekends, so skip me on weekends if my turn comes up.

As I mentioned in my earlier post, I am MIA until the 6th. Things are looking good so far and I am champing at the bit waiting until I can get a few free minutes to play my turns.

Good luck and keep things rolling in my absence (I'll check in when I get back from holidays).
