Kami of Awakened Dreamers
So im the Malakim - and just as i built some command posts to establish a veteran military that has only seen battle in an early rush (had no choice, i was pinned in a peninsula) the Amurites offer me to leave my civ to take over theres.
Well, screw me i wish i had saved the turn before so i could play both "forks" of destiny but i will leave it sit in hopes someone can answer. this is my situation.
I killed the Svar with a stasis rush. (DOW asap and sit warrior in a tree next to them, and while they do nothing i pumped a second city and pumped units to conquer - and i did.)
then i built some cities but got REX'ed in a box by my neighbors. the NUMBER 2 civ, the Amurites give me this popup:
"An Amurite ambassador has come to plea for our help. We have already become the most powerful civ in Erebus and now he wants me to leave my own civ to help lead his people".
what happens if i say yes/no? will this affect diplo any? will i still be my malakim leader with the civ amurites?
I have been reading around to improve my gameplay so i decided to militarily expand instead of using settlers. I began my troops march to prepare for a war with the Amurites - i THINK i can do it, ive been turtling swordsmen in with command posts + training yards in preperation and got some cata's up but im not quite mobilized yet.
I don't really want to take them over just to get cakewalked on!
So, does this happen often?
If i say yes, what happens to the Malakim? i assume the other leader takes over? What happens if i am playing a civ with only one leader? will i get this event, and what happens if i say yes?
Anything i can do outside of coding (which i can NOT do) to increase my odds of getting this event?
thanks in advance i will leave the popup on and do nothing until i know a little bit more. my only concern is i don't think the amurites can defeat my malakim.
EDIT: I have included the auto-save, luckily it auto'd.
I CHALLENGE YOU: Conquer my malakim!
