Outlined below are changes I’d like to see implemented to America’s Civilization Unique Ability, Founding Fathers, preferably in the next expansion pack, but even as a mod if need be. Essentially, I’d actually utilize seven of the Founders as Governor replacements to the seven generic governors in the game. I don’t have all of their promotions outlined, but I do have a solid start.

- Kite Flying - This city's Campus Projects are completed in half the time and generate additional Great Scientist points. If a Storm is above a Campus during the project, automatically generates a Eureka.
- Philadelphia Gazette - With Writing, Trade Routes from this city produce +1 Science or Culture for each Campus or Theater Square building in this city, respectively. +2 with Printing Press.
- Poor Richard’s Almanac - Natural disasters cause no damage to tiles in this city.
- Diplomat - Alliance points per turn toward this Civilization are doubled. Trade routes from this Capital to America generate Diplomatic Points for both civilizations.
- Bonhomme Richard - America can purchase the Unique Naval Unit from this Allied civilization if their Capital has a Harbor District
- Cherry Tree - Gain Culture equivalent to Production when chopping forests
- Valley Forge - Tundra Tiles contribute Production towards and experience for units built in this city
- Continental Army - Corps and Armies cost significantly less Production or Gold in this city
- Crossing the Delaware - Units spend no movement points crossing rivers, embarking, or disembarking in this city
- District of Columbia - +100% Production towards Government District and its buildings
- Presidential Palace - Adds a temporary Palace to this city-center, or doubles the yields of the Capital’s palace
- Alien and Sedition Acts - Enemy spies in this city cannot Generate Unrest
- Peculiar Institution - Gain a free Builder with 1 build for every three out of five times the population in this city grows
- Declaration of Independence - +10 Loyalty per turn to all Cities in a 10 tile radius
- Louisiana Purchase - Tile purchases are significantly reduced. +100% Production toward Settlers.
- Lewis and Clark - +100% Production towards Recon units. Recon units gain a free promotion when built or purchased.
- Monticello - Plantations yield double Culture.
- University of Virginia - +100% Production towards the University. The University yields Culture matching its Science.
- The Constitution - +100% Production towards Wonders that increase the the number of Policy Card slots
- Fort McHenry - Additional Combat Strength for City Strikes. Forts in this city gain a City Strike.
- Star Spangled Banner - Kills in this city generate Great Musician points
- White House - Districts, buildings, and improvements pillaged during war are automatically repaired upon declaring peace.
- Sons of Liberty - Partisans Recruited by enemy spies in this city will become maintenance-free units for America
- Liberty or Death - This city gains +50 loyalty if an American unit is captured or killed within its tiles.
- Establishment of Denomination - This city’s Holy Site generates +100% pressure for America’s religion. Trade routes from this city receive no pressure from foreign religions, and Trade Routes to this city yield +1 religious pressure for each Holy Site building.
- Secretary of the Treasury - +100% Gold from the Bank
- “Hamilton” - +100% Tourism for each Great Work of Music in this city
