changing improvement yields on strategic resources

So i tried modifying the resources.xml and change the yield change value.. from 3 to 5

<Row ResourceType="RESOURCE_OIL" YieldType="YIELD_PRODUCTION" YieldChange="5"/>

yet it doesnt seem to change the yield ( i checked by looking at the civilopedia traits portion ).. i searched through the civ directory for resource_oil and that seems the right entry to change.

am i missing something?

ok..i just read the entry more carefully.. that is change the production..not the resource yield itself.. that makes sense then.. ok, so is there a way to change the resource yield?

ok..found the answer..it is the table Resource_Consumption there i can set the improvedextractionrate value for each specific resources.
