GAH!! I just cliked the wrong one!! I don't want to research Democracy, there's something I want to research first, GAH!! Is there any way I can change it? Please tell me there is.. I think my previous save was a few researches ago and I don't really want to go back to that previous save..

OK I'll tell you there is: "There is". But I'm lying. You're stuck with it short of reloading a save.

That's annoying indeed. It happened to me a few times too, just hitting the wrong option and then you can't go back and change it. Well you should be able to research the tech you really wanted fairly quickly: if you are at democracy you are quite far in the game and the research should be going quickly!
Actually, it was sometime BC. I was lucky enough to be stuck on a large island by myself, so I was able to concentrate more into technology rather than military. Heh, I got like 8 Wonders built and nobody else has built any wonders yet =P

Wow, only the second improvement civ3 has on civ1!
