I just patched to 3.17 and updated FFH on my computer, and I've been noticing that sometimes grassland will change to tundra, and then back again in a couple of turns. I haven't noticed this in the normal game, just FFH, although I do play FFH more. Is this something new that was added to 032?

Has anyone else noticed that these events only work once, yet continue to pop up throughout the game for no further effect?

No, I haven't noticed that. Probably helps that I don't bother to read anything the constellations say anymore. Waste of time, imo.

Repeated events don't work from what I can see. Repeated constellation does nothing. Repeated mushrooms does nothing, repeated volcano does nothing etc.

Surprised nobody has mentioned this (or maybe they have :S)

Repeated constellations where the player has a choice work just fine. The problem is that the event text shows up no matter who gets the event, so you're probably seeing a bunch of AI-triggered constellation events.

Shrooms and Frostlings don't repeat properly though.

I've noticed plains changing to deserts and back....
That's the aforementioned constellation event.
The Burnt Wings, sacred to Bhall, causes random tiles to turn into desert and back, while Tali's constellation causes random tiles to turn to tundra and back, I believe.

I think you mean Mulcarn/The Bear.
I thought Mulcarn/The Bear was just the Golden Age for Illians, but no other effects? I know Tali's says 'Strong storms rage across your lands', but I haven't checked the code to see what the actual effects are.

Repeated events only don't work twice for a single player. By the end of the game, every player has a volcano, for example. But only 1. At least I think that is the case.

Once again, I think that only applies to events where it creates something (Volcano, Mushrooms, Penguins, Frostling). Things like the Great Prophet from Ceridwen's constellation and Golden Ages from the various religion ones (Night Sun, Shield of Valor, Sleeping Dragon, etc) work multiple times just fine.
