I know where the gamespeedinfo XML is, but that doesn't regulate the scenario year interval from the main XML does it?

I would imagine a gamespeedinfo xml would be in the game itself to regulate the year interval for the scenario. I haven't found it in a lot of the scenarios.

Specifically right now I'm playing "Rise of Rome" and I don't like how it's going by in 2 year increments, (maybe I'm just not good enough of a player) but when it takes years and years to build improvements and units I find it highly doubtful for Rome to be able to expand as quickly as they did historically.

Right now I'm down to 168BC and I can already tell 1) I'm not going to be in Gaul by 44BC like Julius Ceaser, I'm gonna wipe out the Carthage, control Egypt or Spain.

So how do I change this? Thanks very much.

Yes, I did search the forum on this, I just don't understand how changing the gamespeed info in the main directory (warlord/assets/xml) would change the scenario. And not only that, wouldn't it change the main game speeds?

I got it. Just took a sec to figure out.

Under the public maps folder, the CIVWARLORDSWBSAVEfile.

Calendar=CALENDAR_BI_YEARLY

Question...is there a reference available for the xml text names? For instance, I had to dig some to figure out what to correct this to.

Under the Chinese unification I found Calendar=CALENDAR_YEARS

Is there a guide somewhere for all the correct names?
