In my current game, my use of "Cheat Mode" in one of my saved games is affecting that flag for another one of my games.
Let me explain.
In one of my games that I have completely won and am screwing around with, I had used cheat mode to find the location of enemy units to bribe.
Once I was done fooling around with that game, I started a new game on the same map as I had played the old game.
However, after I played a few rounds in this new game, I decided to load my old game for a moment because I had forgotten how a particular landmass was shaped.
When I reloaded my new game, I noticed that the "Cheat Mode" flag had been turned on.
The "Cheat Mode" flag persists even if I load the b4000 saved game, a saved game that took place before I loaded the other game.
Has this happened to anyone before? How can I prevent this problem from happening in the future?
Also, how can I get rid of the "Cheat Mode" flag so it no longer is associated with my saved game? I've already played a few hours in this new game, so I don't want to completely restart it.
