Am I crazy, or has my Game 12 arrived in cheat mode?

Cheat mode seems to be toggled, and anyone can add new advances etc at will as far as I can see.

What's the go?

Try re-downloading it. My copy certainly wasn't in cheat mode. It had all those annoying options enabled (the always wait before end of move unchecked )

Game 12 most definitely did NOT arrive in cheat-mode!

But I do experience the same thing when:
I want to look at saves of other people.
These are all saved in the Civ2 Gold Edition format.
So I converted my Civ2-TOT to Civ2-MGE using the patch from this site.
But whenever I open a savegame with this version I have the cheat mode enabled. Kind of confused me the first time I looked at someone elses GOTM.:crazyeyes
Even my own saves from FanWorld are affected.

So if you use a patched Gold version of Civ2 this could be the reason.

BTW, I always use my Civ2-FanWorld to play.

There is a known bug........I know someone had this problem before, in all of his games....
