Dropping this one as a starting idea, any suggestions are more than welcome!

Once adopted animals(cows/goats/etc), next thing humans did, was a cheesemaking (and up till today for the last what 5000 years at least?).
Thanks to long lasting cheese, early ppl get a food to take with for long travel.
Could be added as a new Tech, city boost grow, luxuri resource, even a new building "Cheese-Cave" a like.

You could add it, yes, but there's millions of such things you could add. Good for a mod, but I can see why it isn't in the base game.

Have a look at civ 4's Caveman to Cosmos mod; it's got over 700 techs so I bet there's a tech for cheesemaking in there somewhere. With building.

I'd kind of assume it's part of what comes with building pastures.

That said, heres a fun idea: The game generates cultural signifiers such as food and clothing based on your civ's popular luxuries and bonuses.

So for instance if you have a lot of cattle pastures you might be known for cheese, if you have silver and diamonds you might be famed for jewellry. If you have a lot of spaghetti plantations you might be known for pasta bologneise and so forth.

Firaxis please add spaghetti as a bonus resource.

Please.

Just do it.

We'll be forever thankful.

We might even stop bugging you about the quaility of the AI, though I won't promise anything.
