Calanthians email is.......

Then I will send Chi_BC-4000_to_Calanthian

.....in a private message to you.

I think I sent you the wrong e-mail in the PM. Ozy just sent out an e-mail with everybody's e-mail so you should have it now.

I told you Alexander of Celtia :p Oh well. I can play it anyways.
But I don't see where the directions are on how to use PBEM tracker.

There was an option to call "bad start"..

I think this is one..

I am on a long snaky stretch of land; of which I don't know if it is or isn't an island.
There are only 17 hexes on which I can build (where normally one has 40 to 50 hexes to build on)

These are:
2 deer
Frozen hill
2 tundra
3 grassland
8 forest
1 mountain

And a 1 hex polar ice island

What is your verdict?

When the PBEM Tracker is started you'll go to the site and upload the turn to the game using the "Upload" link. You'll also be able to go there and see where the turn lies. Those following players using Ruffs Emailer will use the Uploader of that person, as that's whose turn it was last. You can also download your turn from the site if you haven't received the email. So much easier than having to email it. My ISP makes it difficult to use the Ruff Emailer.

Oh dear, that is indeed what I had written down, and intended to enter... What did you get?...although academic question - see below...

Doesn't sound an ideal start to a multi-year endeavour.

I'm going out for the evening right now, but I shall restart it tomorrow...

I have not used pbemtracker myself, but understand it can be set up as soon as I have the leader names.

If you send the first save by regular email, and we will have pbemtracker up and running soon after...

Restart 1:

I sent the new save just under one hour ago.

Good luck (again) everyone, and please let me know your random leaders and tribes so I can update the OP.

Again, with advanced start, you should be able to let me know on the first turn if it is a bad start - so that's the window for this.

Once we get to turn 2, I shall offer another game for those that don't like ai and huge maps.

But you didn't delete the old save, so I got your turn instead.

Please resend.

For the new guys, and those that need reminding.

There is a bug in BTS.

When you press the End Turn button, it creates a save for the next player.
(I guess we all know this :D )

If, for some reason, you made a mistake and need to replay the turn, then
YOU MUST DELETE the save file for the next player
BEFORE YOU REPLAY your turn.

If you do not delete, the next player will not be able to play his turn,
and you will have to delete, replay AGAIN, and resend.

So, please everyone, delete the old saves before you play your restart, and before you replay.

Sent... having trouble with the "in-game" send, sent by e-mail.

I'm ok so far with this start, although there was only one place to put a city and less resources than the first start. I guess we'll see what happens...

I had fewer resources than the first start also..

However this was more than compensated by a sense of having done 'the right thing' :)

If you are having trouble with the in-game send
(and I have never used it, so the wrong person to ask for advice)
the alternatives are pbemtracker and ruff hi's emailer utility.

I use ruff hi's emailer, and others say pbemtracker is good.
I shall test it shortly, when i have all the names.

My resources are different , my priorities are changed, all new everything. Looks to be a more difficult start. but who knows...:undecide:
