OK i have a really annoying problem.
I first got Civ 3 a coupla weeks ago, it took me a while to get into but now i love it
Anyway under the version i installed from disk i noticed that the foreign advisor didnt have a clue, for instance id have spoken to the English, Japanese, Romans and Greeks, and it would only show that i had contact with the Greeks. Weird.
So i downloaded the Patch thinkin it would fix the problem and it did i can see everyone ive met now.
Except theres another problem.
Whenever im in a game where i try to be China or encounter the Chinese, the game crashes
Its weird like when im in the start new game screen and im selecting my civ i click on China and it crashes. Or if i start a game as another civ like the game i had as the Romans and i was totally kicking butt I had conquered my entire continent, i landed on another continent nearby and found the chinese, when they messaged me it crashed.
It does that every time whenever China is involved. Im beginning to think that its a secret protest my computer makes at me wanting to be a dictatorial ruler of millions of people.
Also it sometimes does it randomly if i try to talk to any other nation.
I had a thought that maybe there was a problem with the animation for the rival leaders?
