Choose your own hell hole...!

Really? With the biggest rate of inflation in the world, about 70% unemployment, no freedom of speech and political beating. Surely this must be paradise then. :shake: If that does not fit your definition of an humanitarian disaster, then I do not know what does fit your definition then.

Don't know if it's still true, but East St. Louis, ILL was
considered the most dangerous city in the US.

As far as polluted cities go, Mexico City is right up there.
Many years ago, there were articles talking about how birds would literally fall to the ground dead due to pollution, and workout freaks had the lungs of 2 pack a day smokers...

Oy! I'm the last person to defend a thug like Mugabe, but c'mon, Zimbabwe as the worst place on earth? Being unemployed and not being able to speak up is one thing, but it's a far cry from a place like somalia or darfur, where you have no food, daily violence, outbreaks of diseases like cholera (!) and no forseeing end to it?

Zimbabwe is faaaar from my bottom choice....

North Korea. Bleargh. At least you can get out of for Ethiopia, Darfur or Haiti...

I'd rather risk running to China or even over ther DMZ to trying to escape Darfur. Where do you go? No roads, militias and gov't troops everywhere, and even if you do get out, where are you? Ethiopia? Chad?

Djibouti can't be all that much fun. 50% unemployment, smack between Ethiopia and Somalia, 10% infant mortality rate, 43-year life expectancy, an operating deficit 35% the size of its total revenue, and a President elected with 100% support because he was the only option on the ballot. On top of that, it's the hottest place on Earth. Probably the only factor making it remotely safe to live there is the presence of both French and American military garrisons.

I pick DC.

I read somewhere earlier today that the murder rate in Iraq is 60ish per 100k and in DC its in the uper 70s per 100k despite the most restrictive gun laws.

Lol yea, because guns laws are to blame..

Honestly though i doubt they are helping. Considering you can just go across to virginia to buy a gun it really isnt worth banning.
