I decided to make a map last year based on Pegasia from Chris Wayan's Planetocopia. Pegasia is designed as an Earth-like moon of a gas giant orbiting a red dwarf. The map itself is standard sized, but has 12 players.
High marks for dealing with how to change the distortions map projection. Looks like it could be a very interesting map for any scenario emphasizing seafaring & naval technologies.
It does look like a very interesting map. Are the locations of the resources and civilizations keyed to anything? I was thinking of using Quintillus editor to import it into my naval mod, as it clearly is set for Seafaring civilizations, and that has added resources in it.
