My maximum is 21.

You were really facing a weak opponent , with absolutely no CULTURE at all, and with an outdated and numericaly inferior military. Matches like these are no fun , they are actually quite boring.

For me, Marshal Zhukov, ( the one that conquered Berlin in WWII ) the matches have challenging.

Have you ever heard of railroads and calvary/tanks/modern armor?
I routinely crush empires of equal strength in one or two turns in post railroad wars as long as I am the aggressor and hence can prepare.

For me, Marshal Zhukov, ( the one that conquered Berlin in WWII ) the matches have challenging.

For a start I was facing 2 opponents, on different continents, on the other side of the world from my homeland (so this makes matters more complicated). Between them they had at least 200 military units, which of course were more outdated than my units (I had modern armour, they had infantry), but it wasn't modern armour vs spearman contest, which I agree is boring. The total force I used was about 40 Modern Armour units, 50 Mech Infs, 30 Radar Artillery, about 20 marines, 20 Aircraft Carriers, about 100 different air units (most of them carrier-based) and about 15 battleships. So on the ground I did not have any numerical advantage.

These two civs had quite a lot of culture for their size, and many of the cities I captured had 1000+ culture points (so I had to resort to amphibious landings sometimes to capture those cities, because my modern armour would not reach them in one turn).

Many of the enemy units were stationed outside cities, so it made my job easier - I could avoid quite a large chunk of their militaries and go straight for the cities (which were bombed to rubble by my air force).

Finally, this was a game on Monarch level, so it was fully my achievement that I had technological and military superiority over my opponents.
