City Naming: Red Dot

We have a city named "Red Dot" which was apparently given that name as a default value until we come up with a better name. The nomination process is now open for renaming of this city.

There is no set timeline for this process, we'll see how it goes and adjust accordingly.

It does sound familiar, real city maybe?, witchita kansas? that sounds right to me.. but im not sure... im not american

I just remember it from the movie "The Ice Harvest" (which wasnt so great.) The city they were in was called Witchita Falls. On a wall in a bathroom at a strip club, "As Witchita falls, so falls Witchita Falls."

Then again theres also the city of Wichita Falls in Northern Texas (but I only leanred about that by just googling now.)

Or maybe you were even thinking of Wichita State (not Witchita) who made it to the round of 16 in the NCAA (National College Athletics Association) last year in the Final Four Tourney (which btw I bet a lot of money on and lost.)

Anyway, who knows why it sounds so familiar? But the **** written on the wall in that movie was catchy as hell.

I do quite like "Red Dot", however, we could go for a variant on that Abbott & Costello routine and call it "Where": "Send the spear to where?", "Yes.", "But where???" etc

In honour of a former president, we could go for 'nowhere'. "It's a real nowhere kinda town - nobody lives there"
