My ideas. This is a civ that Charlemagne actually rules over. Normandy he ruled over as seen in a descriptions did not come to existed yet. it is shortly after he died and a Viking boss named Rollon won Rouen provice from France in a negotiation with King Charles The Simple. (in exchange that he baptize and became vassal to King of France). Before that there's Holy Roman Empire. the core origin was actually 'Frank lands'. which formerly under Roman Jurisdictions until the Empire fell. and Franks took what they could, and not just in modern France, but also West Germany in a region known as Francia.
Capitol: Aachen (Alternatively, either Latin name 'Aquis Granum' or French name 'Aix-la-Chapelle' can be used).
City names includes..
- Several cities of France.
- Verdun (It is a fortress city of the Empire. later became Fortress of later France for so many eras, best known in the great defense in the First World War (Ils ne passeront pas) .
- Many Franconian cities in modern Germany. should use endonym.
UI: Chateau (There are alternate names. like 'Schloss', 'Manor House'.) -- same as those predecessors in previous Civ games -- Only build next to resources, two Chateaus can't be built next to each other, many Chateaus permitted, provides 1 Culture, 1 Influence, and defensive factors to anyone standing on this hex.
UC: Paladin: Army commander that heals wounded aumatically.
UU: Canon (Written in French). beginning with Tier II, siege weapons that can deal damage to land units halfway between any generic siege and ranged. i.e. Better attack strenght against land units in the field battle.
