As of now, I am going to present discussion and invite others to toss in their ideas for build queues for Olympus. I have learned the hard way that I should not just pass on the queue blindly much like I have learned the hard way not to post up instructions late. Right now I am correcting my errors and alowing a full discussion for the queues of Olympus.

Right now the queue stands as of now:
Coloseum in 1 turn, Granary.

Right now I am considering on switching to the Haning Gardens, but thats the president's call and would leave that only up to him. The alternative is to change the queue to build hoplites, but the downside would be wasting shield. Unfortunately, I am forced to make my bed and sleep on my error and keep the colosseum in the queue

Right now, I am planning on building a barrack first and then vet holites and export them to other undefended cities within our empire. Here are the options that I have so far.

1) Keep Colosseum, drop Granary, add in barracks and hoplites
2) Switch to barracks, drop Granary, add in barracks and hoplites
3) Switch to HG (This is up to whom ever is incharge of wonders) drop Granary, add in barracks and hoplites.

I don't recommend a granary at this time, unless Olympus plans to build workers. Once the current growth to size 12 completes, it will be many hundreds of years, if not over a thousand, before our great capitol can accomodate any more citizens.

A barracks and a mixture of swords and horsemen would be a good idea. Poorly chosen jokes aside, you're stuck with not much available to build. In my 5CC test game, there was literally no good build choice for a large number of turns, and my cities were producing [gasp] wealth [/gasp].

I dont forsee any demands for workers. I am already planning to cut the granary out of the queue and replace it with a barrack.

Well, I tend to avoid using wealth unless we are in desperate need for gold or that there is nothing else to build. Certanly, I hope the Military department wont mind having some vet horsemen and swords in the military pool, along with vet hoplites exported to our undefended cities.
