Currently when a city-state is defeated, the announcement states the name of the city-state "civ," not the actual city-state name. As someone who doesn't know all of the original "civs" where these city-states were IRL (or, TBH, some of the city states themselves), this can be confusing and a waste of time as I scroll around the map looking at who is defeated.
