I've recently managed to get Civ 2 on the PSP and am now finally making use of my Christmas present.
I used to play Civ 2 a lot and had some real problems around my A levels with the "just one more turn" syndrome. Shame I wasn't doing history as I might have done a bit better.
One thing I enjoyed was the Scenarios, particularly the WWII one. I'm slightly disappointed that the old PSX version does not support scenarios and certain other features are missing (zoom to city on caravan etc) but I'm so happy that I can be a portable warmongerer that these minor annoyances don't matter that much.
Seeing as Scenarios are apparently out of the questions I thought that I would start a savegame thread where portable Civ 2 players can swap save files . I've added 2 to get started.
King 200 BC is normal map, 7 tribes, raging hordes, 8 cities on the way to getting montheism and great location for power Democracy although the Mongols to the west may disagree.
Emperor 4000 BC, large map, raging hordes, you start on a grassland island.
If anyone has had a particularly enjoyable/challenging game recently and you would like to share it please feel free to upload savegames.
