Civ 2 Test of Time- advice needed

I want to buy Civ2 and play european WWII, asian WWII and european WWI. Should I buy Civ2:GE or Civ2:ToT, I heard that I cant play scenarios from Civ2 on Civ2:ToT?

Is there more scenarios for Civ2:GE or Civ2:ToT and which are better? Do you post here scenarios from Civ2 r Civ:ToT? And where can I find scenarios for Civ:ToT and are the WWI and WWII scenarios included in Cin2:ToT?

I want to note I am only interested at scenarios not the regular game at 4000bc

I would advise MGE.You will have a much,much larger selection of scenarios to choose from.There is a conversion utility for making some scenarios ToT compatible,but I still think you're better off with MGE.

Yes there are more scenarios than you can shake a stick at.

scroll down to the scenarios and you will see there is one for pretty much every historical period and subject.There are currently over 300 scenarios available thru CivFanatics

and..of course multiplay is the best scenario you can play.BTW-you can also play actual scenarios in multiplay.Usually by PBEM.

it says there is a patch that converts civII ToT to CivII gold?
does it work properly, any idea?
I want to buy civII:gold on ebay but i would have civII ToT faster

Well I don't know about scenarios but I prefer MGE over ToT for the 'normal' game...
