Civ 3 - Ending Year

I apologize if someone has already covered this, or if the answer is relatively obvious.

How do you change the ending year in Civ3 from 2050 AD to a different year? I've searched about, and I can't find anything in the text files or the Civ3 editor.

I've read a couple of other threads on this...I don't think it can be done.

Its hardcoded into the game, so it cant be changed until a better editor is released!
