First things first, hello everybody
I have installed Civ 4 on my windows 7 laptop, game ran ok but after loading a game for the first time I realised I needed to sort out control options (I dont have a seperate or function based numeric key panel for directional control. On exiting the game it asked me to install the 1.74 patch, did that and now it wont start up at all, I cant even unistall the game and start again.
If I delete the base folder I am sure that there will be a system file that I will need to make changes to or the system and the auto launch on the disk will think that civ 4 is already installed on the laptop and wont let me reinstall.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
