civ 4 historical mod by hiwitt

hi everybody
I've download the civ4RtW historical mod but when I try to extract it in the /beyond the sword/mod/ it start to extract but then it stop and say that there is an error and that it can't create the file.
can enyone help me please?

What you could try to do is download it to a different folder. Then copy this folder to "...\Beyond the Sword\Mods" folder.

If you have installed it (Civ 4) into the default install folder on a Win 7/Vista it may be a "permissions" problem. Win 7 adds additional protection to the "C:\Program Files\" and C:\Program Files (x86)\" folders.

As you may notice in my thread, I have installed Civ 4 into its completely own folder C:\GAMES\CIV4\ and this gets around any permissions issues.
