Civ 4 Not Installing

I reinstalled my windows and of course, I re-installed Civ 4, or at least tried to. But, it gets to like the part of writing the file Art0.fppk or something and then it just has trouble reading the disc. The disc is not scratched, and it worked for me without trouble many times before. I read around and think it has something to do with burning programs like Nero messing up the DVD writer drive (which is the only one I have). What should I do?

I also tried reinstalling Battlefield 2 and the same thing happens to me. Will I have to buy a new dvd drive?

Nevermind, I just uninstalled Nero and it works fine now.
