Civ 4 ~ Serenity

Before I start I just want to say that I know this has been done before but I want to make one bigger and Better than any beforre it...

You may be confused at the title, I just picked it because it sounds cool Okay.

So what I propose is the largest, most full of features, most realistic Civ 4 mod ever. This task will be difficault however so I do require some help. Heres just some tidbits at things I'd like to put in the game...

You're proposing quite a hefty plan. While I commend you on your sense of adventure, take a step back- Alot of the work has already been done for you: There are Irish, Canadian, Meixcan, Confederate civs out there. There are combat mods out there which add realism, such as the Ranged Bombardment mod, as well as Dale's Combat mod.

However, one thing you have to understand is that if you want to undertake such a massive prospect, you've got to be able to handle it. Judging by your post, I'd say you may want to take things a bit slower. Start small: Take an Idea for a civ, such as Pakistan, model it up, and post it. Have people tweak it while you take their ideas and use them correctly.

One thing I would greatly recommend is to improve your spelling. Its Kazakhstan, as well as Difficult. But thats just the amature grammer nazi in me.]


Keep a plan open: Decide what youre going to do, and why. Ask yourself "Is this really neccessary to the goal of having fun with this mod?" Every thing should be asked that question. From a single model to a whole script.

Good luck though. Keep organized and you'll be having your mod up and running in no time.

Yeah, me too. Not sure how that would work in Civ4, but seeing Summer Glau kick ass is never a bad thing.
