Civ 5 and netbooks

Guys, I am a U.S. Service member and will be deploying soon. I use a gaming laptop at home with a 17" screen. I am looking for something that is not nearly as bulky.
Basically, I need something that will play movies, doesn't break the bank and most importantly......allows me to play Civ 5!!! Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Are you deploying to Afghanistan, Iraq or elsewhere, environmental conditions are a large impact.

Another factor is do you care more about graphics or turn speeds. If you care most about size, turn speed and weight the MacBook Pro 15" 2011 model is pretty good,

Note that if you are deploying to Afghanistan you probably want a SSD drive because HDDs don't like high altitude
