As a huge fan of scenario-building, I was wondering if anything's been revealed about Civ 5's map editor?

When Civ 2 came out, I was thrilled that I could make my own maps/scenarios. Civ 3 came out with a slight improvement, but there are a few issues I have with that version. Then along came Civ 4 and I felt kinda let down, to be honest. First issue being that it ran simultaneously with the game, therefore making my computer run slower. Secondly, the 'WorldBuilder' can only run if you've already started a game (unless I've missed something here...). Apart from these issues, that editor would be pretty good.

In conclusion, I'm hoping Civ 5's editor (if any) will be much better. Any ideas yet on how it'll be done?

As we mentioned earlier, the world-builder tools will ship with the game, but this time available as a stand-alone program.

Your link says:

Please don't link directly to this page from message boards, emails, etc. Link to the main Hexographer page so others won't download and start the application until they are ready and they have had a chance to skim the overview and instructions.

The only problem with starting to create our own maps is we don't know map sizes yet.
