Civ 5 social policies, images shrunk?

Normally when you click the social polices, the image usually covers the entire branch, like this :

However, on my social polcies look like this:

Something's really weird there...did you touch any of the files? I guess not.
Else it would be useful to know your computer specs, the graphics card is important (and in case you haven't already done it: Please update your graphics drivers).

No I didn't touch any files, and I do meet the requirements. And I believe my graphic drivers are up to date, I'm trying to reinstall it to see if that will help. And I will check to see if they are up to date, just to make sure.

Just checked the drivers and they are up to date.
Reinstalled the game, and it still doesn't work.

I think I've seen someone repot that before here. You may find the thread by searching or by just looking further back. I can't however remembered if a solution was found.
