DX9 shrunk images help?

well, ive been having a problem with my game in DX9 mode with alot of images like the social policy menu, the problem is that the images are shrunk in a way that they dont fit in the slots that they belong too, the problem also exists for the images that show for most wonders.

this problem only exists for the DX9 mode, can anyone help me?

You can delete the game and start over. You can verify the local content through steam. (right click the game and go to properties and choose local files tab and then verify local files) do this until all files successfully varified message.

You can try downloading a newer video driver for your ATi mobile radeon. Your machine is barely @ minimum specs if not at all. If it started out fine and then changed, then a file was corrupted. If it was always that way, try the video driver and be thankful you can play the game.
