[Civ 6 Demo] CTD when starting new game

So I played the demo just fine for the first time. But after updating my AMD drivers the game just crashes whenever I try to start a new game. It happens right after leader intro at the game start.

My PC specs are quite modest: i5 6500, 8GB RAM & RX480 8GB.

Ok I solved the problem by deleting the Civ 6 folder in Documents/My Games/. Not sure what got corrupted in the first place.
