Here's the thing. Weeks after Civ 6 was launched, I purchased the game and started playing it on my notebook (specific info on my notebook bellow), and it worked fine, better than I expected. But I quickly became tired of playing it band went back to Civ V; which I always considered the best Civ game of all. Months later I came back to Civ 6 and to my surprise... It simply won't start.
First I got the common "No compatible graphic device found" issue, I solved it somehow and the game started very buggy - i couldn't even begin a game because the loading screen took forever to load. I closed the game and after that it didn't start again, but this time no window popped up - the game just flashed a black screen then immediatly closed. No warning, problem report, nothing.
Some ppl told me it could be a Directx problem - not my case since my directx have compatible resource level 11_0. Then they just assumed my notebook was too weak to run the game. But how is that possible if I already played it with virtually no issue at all like 10 ou 11 months ago?
Is this a patch issue? The game became more powerful or something over the last months? I don't understand how could it run so smoothly then and not at all right now. Can somebody help me?
Specific info on my notebook:
Intel HD Graphics 4000 with 32MB of VRam
IntelCore i5-3317U @1.70Ghz
Directx 11.2
Windows 10
