Yeah, I've been playing for three years and i never knew that. I wouldn't want to know how much time I wasted moving the units one-by-one when I could have just moved them in a stack.

I remember a game I played after I had just discovered you can move the whole stack. I had signed RoP with a neighbor so I can move a stack of 82 units (yes, I counted them), mostly medieval infantry with a few knights and swords, while at war with a mutual neighbor.

I find it most useful with a stack of 60 artillery.
