Civ III PTW Strategy Guide worth buying?

I have it - its little more than the manual really - I wouldn't say its worth it (it has errors in it too)....
Far better are the strategy forum and the war academy on this site - much more usefull - plus you can ask questions and get answers - try that with the guide
There are some excellent strategy guides on this site - i found them to be far far better.....and they don't cost!

I would definitely say that it is worth it!! Especially with the patches that fix most of the multiplyer issues.
-8 New civs
-more improvements
-more worker actions
-many, many scenerios
-multiplayer
-new game modes
-new units
-easier to use (with new order buttons, espionage screen, etc.)
-Chat ability
-New Wonder

If you already know how to play Civ3 quite well, the strategy guide isn't really worth it, as it doesn't really provide any information that you probably don't already know. The civlopedia in the game gives you sufficient information about the new units and civs. And some of the strategies in that guide are misguided.

I just buy strategy guides for reference purposes and just look through for fun. All of them have errors, no matter what game you buy them for, but don't take them seriously. It's been said already but you can learn a lot more at the forums here or the War Academy

lol dumb teens dont care they just want to get out of there i had a worker one time tell me to go some were were they had better price!lol. the only thing that wood make workers tell you this is if you go into a bathroom for 20 mins and walk out with the book just read i never buy hunting books i just read the book in walmart and just keep notes fo what was in there DONT BUY USE THAT MONEY TO BUY THE PLAY THE WORLD!!!
