Civ III vs. Civ III Game of the Year Edition

Minor differences, get the least expensive one. The GOTY edition I believe comes pacthed to 1.21g and includes the editor. It may also include a bonus cd that is about the creation of Civ3. If you get Civ3, you can easily d/l the latest patch (1.29b2) and the editor from MacSoft's website.

i already own CIV III, but there is no german version of it available, so it is in english.
but here in germany the game of the year edition is announced in german, so i was thinking to buy also. but only if there were additional features like multiplayer or maybe more civ's. i guess i'm gonna save the money (maybe for "play the world" or "conquest" ) guess i can save the money for that for a looooong time
