Civ IV-BTS on Windows 7?

Hey all,

I currently play Civ IV (BTS), on my MacBook Pro. I am considering purchasing it again for Windows and playing it on my Windows 7 OS installed on my MBP through bootcamp. The main reason for this would be the ability to download all of the mods, especially BUG and BAT.

Could someone tell me whether Civ IV will work with Windows 7? I am also wondering if I would have better performance running the game through Windows 7 on my MBP than the OSX operating system.

For me, Civ4 BTS plays well with seven, but not for Thomas' war.
