Civ IV Complete Edition wont play

So i just bought the Civ IV complete edition, and i cant get it to play. It appears to install correctly, but whenever i hit the "Play" button on the autoplay screen, it immediately goes to a screen to either play a trial version of Civ 4 Colinization or to buy the full version of Colinization. Cant ever get it to just play the game. I exchanged the game for the same thing, and having the same issue.

has anyone else run into this problem and possibly have a solution?

Welcome to CFC!

It often doesn't create the shortcuts to the other games. You may find them listed in the Games folder or you may have to search for the .exe files and create your own shortcuts.
