US is CD, it was on one of the box arts. No games coming out now are DVD only, in US at least. ANd this isn't partiularly one of the bigger ones.

Otherway round now in the uk - all the new pc game releases are dvd only - Which is a good thing too ... I mean when games (like FEAR) are 3.8 GB - that would be like 10 CDS in the box which would be a bad thing ...

Its not suprising really - they havnt sold pC's without DVD's in them in this country for about 2 years (from shops like Dixons and PC world I mean - I knwo there are available). A cdrom drive is £18 a DVD writer is £27 from online suppliers - its not suprising that DVD is (and should be) the norm.

Only an idiotic publisher/company would make a game olny available on DVD ATM.

No way, the dvd-players are cheaper than the game. Just because every game company uses cd's a lot people still don't have a dvd-player. World of Warcraft was on 4 cd's, which sucked really bad.

They might as well use floppy disks so that people who don't own a cd-player can play the game as well.
