Pete's lame email said:The first cIV multiteam game is starting up, and I thought you'd be interested in checking it out. You don't have to have the game, and you don't have to know how to play it. All the important stuff is posted in screenshots by the turnplayer. You will learn a tremendous amount just by following along in the discussions; if you are bold, you'll be one of the decision makers. You can participate as much or as little as you like - but based on my own experience with the civ3 MTDG, it's really crazy addictive.
Turns tend to go at about 1 every other day, so there's plenty of time for analysis of every single unit move, citizen move, worker task, and micromanagement adjustment. You can always join and then stop following along, so there's no reason not to sign up. It really has changed my appreciation for the game: It's great on its own, but when you add the dynamics of playing against 100 other human on 4 other teams it becomes something else entirely.
