I have heard somewhere that a group of asm programmers are making a smallinized version of civ for the ti-89 and possible 86 graphing calculators. Does anyone with experience in this subject know anything else? Does anyone else program/download/play calulator games or programs. If not games, then you should at olest check out the math and science progs for them, theyve saved my *** a bunch.

That was very good!!!

CivII is the cause of many hours of jobs lost when we stay hours in front of the monitor and now it'll became the cause of many E at schools.

If that's true tell me when it become available.

And you gonna tell me how the Ti89 processor will handle with so much data, especially for a Civ-like game

Actually, there is a decent demo version of SimCity on the TI written in BASIC, and when the C version comes out, it will be truly amazing.
As for the Civilization Project, it will probably be months before a playable version is released.
This is all possible, of course, with the awe-insporing TI-GCC compiler which allows you to write in C for the 89/92+.
Like i said, visit ticalc.org .

Uhh, by the way, an 86 version is impossible. Nothing short of the 89's Motorola 68000 processor can hack it.

On a different note, Civ2 runs pretty well on some PDAs, many of which use the 68k chip. So get you hopes up a little.
