For Civilization 4 what wonders do you want? Do you want changes in the actual wonders, or their functions? How about having more 'physical' effects, being seen on the world map and having influence there? Here's what I want, then, to start it out.
7 wonders per age: Historically, there is the famous 'seven wonders of the ancient world". Granted, there are more impressive landmarks than that, but those great wonders were placed every age. For Civ four, maybe we could stay with 7 per age, at least for the original release? (expansions could be different, of course)
Here's what I would have for 7 wonders per age:
Ancient:
Pyramids: Same effects as now
The Collosus: Same effects as now
The Temple of Artemis: Doubles all temple effects
The Statue of Zeus: I don't know. Probably not giving ancient cavalry though
The Great Lighthouse: Same as now
The Great Library: Same as now
The Hanging Gardens: Same as now
Medieval:
Leonardo's Workshop: Automatic upgrades! (like in Civ 2)
J.S. Bach's Cathedral: Same as now
Adam Smith's Trading Company: Same as now
Sun Tsu's War Academy: Same as now
Magellen's Voyage: Same as now
The Great Wall: Maybe. Since I can only have seven... I don't know what it would do here. x.x
or
Copernicus's Observatory: Same as now
Shakespeare's Theatre: Same as now! (both increased happiness and hospital effect)
Industrial:
The Theory of Evolution: Same as now
Hoover Dam: Same as now
Newton's University: Same as now
Universal Suffrage: same as now
( I don't remember the rest!! Help me with this one. x.x)
Modern:
The Internet: Dunno what it could do now
SETI: Same as now
Cure for Cancer: Same as now
Longevity: Same as now
United Nations: Something different, for Jove's sake!
The Manhatten Project: Probably the same?
Statue of Liberty: Same as in Civ 2?
Okay, well... please tell me your thoughts!
