Civ1 on XP

Does anyone run their copy of Civ1 on XP? If so, does anyone have any troubles or problems? If so, are there any fixes or patches?

I've not yet tried it but I'm tired of booting up my old old old machine everytime I wanna play!!

I use a little freeware program called "Dosbox", that's perfect for playing in windowed mode. It also keeps the game very fast under XP. Under XP all actions are normally slowed down, and that sucks. But "Dosbox" is some sort of "DOS Emulator", and it emulates even the cpu speed of a computer of "that era".
