CIV1 will it work?

Well it's a big step back but since civ4 isnt working for me and I have lost both civ2 and civ3. A buddy of mine has civ1 that he will give to me and I was just wondering if it will play on XP. Not sure which version it is and it doesnt have the box anymore but it's like 6 floppys. Also will having such new video cards and sounds cards and all that will it even be able to recognize and play the game right anymore?

The best thing to do here is to use DosBox, a very nice old dos machine emulator.

If you find the amiga version, you can even play it on your PocketPC using PocketUAE.

6 discs? Perhaps it's WinCiv.
Personally I don't have XP but I guess it should work.
